Cash profit!

Well, couldn't make the PL MTT, due to crappy trains, so I dabbled in a Stars NLHE cash game for 45 mins or so - took in $15, came out with $34.10 (which is incredibly rare for me!) Mainly thanks to a pre-flop shove with QQ being called, my new strategy is to be aggressive with premium hands some of the time and see if people will call... works more often than I was expecting it to!

Came 2nd in that draw game, winning a draw-jopping (geddit?!) $478.50! No such luck today though, crashing out of 3 games for a combined $15.40 loss, and not doing well in the Virgin Million Miles freeroll either. Ah well, can't win 'em all...

Probably jinxing myself here, but doing well in a draw tourney - my 2nd ever!! I've lost a bit this afternoon but whatever I get here will clear it :)

Lost $5 in a cash game, reminding myself why I rarely play cash...

Entered two $3 HORSEs, the first of which I was doing well in - until I ditched it to watch Wrexham lose 3-1 to Accy Stanley, god knows what I was thinking!

And just missed out on the money in a 2-7 lowball tourney, finishing 25th out of 200-ish - 18 paid.

Will post the result of this one when it finishes, pretty pleased with it whatever happens now tho!

HORSE Tourney

Just played my first MTT of the New Year, and unfortunately, placed 73rd out of 112 - no particularly dreadful plays (which is rare for me!), just couldn't seem to win any of the coin tosses. Still, got me in the mood for more Omaha H/L, which was my most successful round, and I'm going to try the $5 pot-limit tourney in half an hour.
